THE BEGINNING...
The Modeling Board at Auburn University dates back to fall of 2013. Though small and made up of only models, the members participated in local bridal expos, photoshoots for local companies, and hosted runway shows such as "Couture for the Cure".
THE PURPOSE...
The Modeling Board is a group of new and experienced models, who are also Auburn University students. We are a non-discrimination organization that trains, motivates, and places models for various industry opportunities. Our group ranges from a variety of majors, sizes, and cultures. Models are given the opportunity to meet with industry professionals that can help advance their modeling career.
Every October we hope to make a difference with our benefit runway show "Couture for the Cure" - proceeds go to EAMC's Cancer Center and Foundation for Under-served Women to help fight breast cancer. The show grows every year, and 2019 is sure to be the biggest yet!
THE GROWTH...
2019 is the year for epic change. Finally being recognized, booked for shoots with various brands - even with the university. Our models are getting paid to do what they love most... It's time to add a creative crew.
The Board opens up to photographers, videographers, makeup artists, and stylists... The Modeling Board is now an in-house agency, with models that are in-demand.
